Also known as a Peltier Module. If it is important enough that we enjoy life as it is presently, than it should be equally important to us that preservation allows future generations to enjoy the same. Expose the good content Youtube and leave the garbage time-wasted content to be recycled and in this case their is minimal pollution since it is electronic recycling =) Thank you very much, Luc. … Cooking an Egg in 20mins thank you very much parabolic mirror cooking electricity generation …

    Sorry… Affects.

  • luc59457 says:

As for the wind… I knew their wasn’t much I could do, also the outside temperature which effects the peak temp of the pan but not by much… The Egg is directly above the focal point and the pan is not that thick so the heat transfer is more direct rather than using a thick piece of metal or in other words, less loss.

I would like to know for sure =). I just read up on pyrex and it says it has a good thermal resistance, not sure if that’s usefull in that case.

  • AutoteckO8 says:

I don’t have video. I believe the heat from the beam of light is lost…the pan is absorbing the heat and is swept away by the wind..just my opinion. Cooking in Pyrex seems a logical choice because the beam of light penetrates the food. Don’t know for sure but I think its a win win deal.

If it is better and cheaper, I am all for it.

  • luc59457 says:

Never knew that. Perhaps you know of a video showing this?

  • AutoteckO8 says:

What? No home fries? You promised us home fries and eggs. Have you ever used Pyrex? The beam of light under the Pyrex would toast even bacon to a crisp imo. Cool video!!!

I was reading comments and one claimed, Brass… I am unsure if this is true, I am yet to find out.

  • luc59457 says:

There is a black circle spot which the margarine is sorta covering. LOL

  • luc59457 says:

I got some expensive high temp paint. Flat black, as I’ve explained in the video. There was also several sun brakes. I put 20 mins. to be conservative, realistically, with constant sun, it would take 10-15mins. This is very strong! I metled the cookie sheet almost right through, until I put margarine, you can see for yourself..

twenty mins.? a bit to long I’m thinking there can be a material that will absorb the energy better than the bottom of a cooky sheet . there is a high temp flat black paint that is used for wood burning stoves . dont know what it’s called but I think it will do the trick

  • luc59457 says:

Yes, I could do that, or I could use more than 1 concentrating on 1 spot. As for shade on mirror, perhaps, I still have much more testing to do.

  • zasvedogovore says:

mirror should be larger a bit, use wire to hold pan to avoid shade on mirror.ty for posting

  • shihtzusrool says:

    cool,its longer than 10 mins.thats good.
