Embrace renewable energies


Two activists locked onto a conveyor belt at Bluewaters coal-fired power station near Collie, Western Australia. The action is to protest Griffin Energys decision to burn wood from WA native forests for energy production. The two activists were arrested and later removed from the conveyor belt by police, after more than four hours of preventing coal from being fed into the power station. A third activist has also been arrested at the site. They were subsequently charged with Trespassing….

    That’s a very good point Cozza. FYI we car pooled – 4-5 per car. I noticed that in most cases, as I estimate to be two hundred cars rolled into work, each vehicle contained only one person. You can’t win a nuclear war with sticks and stones and we can’t possibly work to replace coal using no technology whatsoever. But we do try to lead by example as much as we can.
    Stand by for Climate Camp in Collie this year.
