This is just a small video to show the effects of adding baking soda to a hho cell, I add a small amount at a time.

Any ideas?

sooooo???? How did your mpg change?

  • zacharypedersen says:

@ladbrey distilled water is like 1.25 a gallon

  • ladbrey says:

So, how much is distilled water per gallon?!

  • NoobiiPower says:

No minerals or salts, PURE water, not strile.

  • cauchotres says:

eso son residuos del agua(gunk water)
    use agua destilada. slds

  • HHOinfo says:

I see you have not made any more videos about HHO for a year now.
What does that mean ? Could not get it to work ?
Or did you give up on it ?

Here is a web page that could have saved you a lot of time & money.
    It is HHOinformation info

Sodium Carbonate may be cleaner, and not make carbon monoxide (possibly from baking soda). Also known as “washing soda” or just putting baking soda in an oven and baking it will make Co2 and water vapor turning it into Sodium Carbonate. Just a thought.

    Ben.

    What does distilled mean?

  • W1LDWESLEY says:

hey i am using baking soda and vineger in my first experiment research.
after 30 minutes of slowly adding nearly the enitre box of of Bsoda and a 4th/1QT white vinager i first notice a smell then i saw a white powdery vapor on top of the bucket. this vapor is esly disturbed by the slightest movement of air, what could this be. i used stainless steel and a battery charger set on 12v and reading 11 amps and a 5 gallon bucket full of water from a furnace.

I bought a F-16 Pulse King on ebay and my HHO cell went off the charts.

  • gerriburn says:

if you have not got it yet, you can get 3 pounds of it on EBAY for 5 bucks

  • gerriburn says:

You can get pvc bodies on EBAY with the caps inside, for about 45 bucks and there acrylic cells, so you can see the action inside

  • gerriburn says:

I am a firm believer in baking soda over Sodium hydroxide, in my case I got a 30% increase in MPG, but once I switched to sodium hydroxide I lost my gain and have since had trouble regaining my gains, but there coming back once I switched back to baking soda.

  • onecraftydude says:

I just want to put my two cents worth in here. Sodium Hydroxide may be harder to get now but you can order it from soap making suppliers like summer bee. NAOH is a catalyst which remains in the water and does not produce as much cavitation which destroys the stainless. Oxygen bubbles explode under the surface of the steel exposing the iron underneath. The iron is oxidized into iron oxide or mud. Naoh or Koh are the best catalysts for this reason. My cells produce no mud ever! I use 1 tsp per gal

  • windowwisher says:

If electrolytes cause the cell to produce more, then why dont you just buy pure powdered electrolytes? They sell it online. google it.

Hey, where did you get the cap for the PVC pipe? I noticed it fits on the INSIDE of the PVC. I have a rubber cap that clamps on the outside of the PVC and it shrank the diameter of the pipe when it got hot from engine heat! Now my plates barely come out of the PVC. btw …. I recognize that is a bulb syringe from the hospital where I work ! LOL

  • narcovice says:

they said need 8 tea spoons of baking soda for every 8 galons or what ever

  • asjenterprises says:

no, unfortunately I have not, but I did get my 68 bug up and running, so it will be the next project
    Thanks for looking

have you had a chance to work on the Corvair in the last 5 months?

    please explain..

    scam

  • one2exile says:

I was wondering were to get sodium hydroxide at,thanks alot

  • 2550osiosterdalen says:

My experience with caustic soda, sodium hydroxide is that it produces more amps but not so much more gas. Maximum amount of baking soda in water is about 8 teaspoons/gallon. And in a three cell series setup, it produces more 2-3 times more gas per amperage that caustic soda.

  • STEWSTERL says:

As flipster said use Sodium Hydroxide. Also Make sure you are using an O2 sensor extender and a PWM connected to you HHO generator.
Also, If you decide to go pure hydrogen you’ll have to adjust your timing to almost top dead center. If your going to do it, do it right. :-)

  • flipster12000 says:

Use sodium hydroxide instead of baking soda! It is a much more efficient electrolyte than baking soda. U can get it at Home Depot for about $7 per 2 lb. container. It is called Crystal Drain Opener. Using baking soda, your cell will tend to overheat causing your cell container to eventually melt down. With sodium hydroxide, heat will eventually level off and not draw too much current, which will eventually kill your alternator’s diodes or your battery. Best of luck.
